Is your sleeper sofa mattress just not cutting it? Well, you have a few options. First off, it might simply be time to replace the entire mattress. Many new sofa beds come with mattresses that are less than comfortable. For a few hundred dollars, you could upgrade the mattress and experience a much better night of sleep.
However, for even less money, you could add a mattress topper to your existing sofa bed mattress. Depending on your sleeping position and comfort needs, you can choose from a thin or thick mattress topper. A thin topper will add just a bit more comfort to the mattress, while a thick topper will make it noticeably softer. Keep in mind that your sofa bed might not fold up with the added topper. You will need to store the topper separately when the bed is not folded out.
