Sleeping With The Douglas Weighted Blanket

The Douglas weighted feels soft against my skin, and the hand-knit design doesn’t trap too much body heat. I tested the 15 lb version, which was a great option for my size.

A woman holds the Douglas weighted blanket

While I appreciate the cooling element of this weighted blanket, it’s not the best choice if you want to cuddle with your pets. My cat, Bento, fell through the holes when he tried to snuggle in it.

I love the overall design of this blanket. The cream color looks inviting and cozy when draped over the back of my couch.

How Much Does The Douglas Blanket Weigh?

The Douglas Hand Knit weighted blanket is available in three weight options: 10 lb, 15 lb, and 20 lb. How Does The Douglas Compare To Other Weighted Blankets?

With so many different blankets on the market, it can be tough to find the right one. But here at Mattress Clarity, we’re passionate about making this process as easy as possible. We’ll compare the Douglas weighted blanket with two other popular options, the Bearaby and Gravity.

Douglas vs Bearaby

Even though they both feature an open weave structure, the Douglas and Bearaby weighted blankets have a few differences. Most notably, the two products are made from different materials. The Bearaby Tree Napper is made from natural eucalyptus fibers, which gives it a soft and silky feel. The Douglas blanket contains jersey-knit cotton and recycled polyester.

Sleeping with the Bearaby Tree Napper Weighted Blanket

The Bearaby Tree Napper is available in 15, 20, and 25 lb models, while the Douglas blanket comes in 10, 15, and 20 lb options.
