The Sweave sheets feel super soft and smooth to the touch. Eucalyptus and Egyptian cotton are known to make sheets feel this way. Sweave uses a percale weave to construct these sheets, which also gives them a slightly crisp feel.

Sweave uses a combination of eucalyptus Tencel lyocell and high-quality Egyptian cotton to make its sheets. Eucalyptus fibers are made into Tencel fabric and are very breathable and moisture-wicking. This is a great combination and makes them a set of cooling sheets!
Egyptian cotton feels much softer than traditional cotton, which helps make these sheets feel very soft, comfy, and cozy. Cotton is also a great option for hot sleepers thanks to its breathability.
The fitted sheet has a very sturdy elastic band, and deep pockets that can fit mattresses up to 15” tall! This means you shouldn’t have to worry about the corners popping up during the night if you toss and turn.
These sheets have been OEKO-Tex certified, making them an eco-friendly option. This certification means that Sweave avoids the use of harmful chemicals in the production process.

What to Consider Before Buying
Let’s discuss a few key considerations for the Sweave sheets that you should keep in mind before clicking “check out.”
Sleeping Hot or Cold
If you’re a particularly hot sleeper, eucalyptus bedding is a great option to consider. Tencel, the name for eucalyptus fabric, is very breathable and moisture-wicking. This combination means you can say goodbye to night sweats while you sleep! Cotton is also breathable, so these are a great option for hot sleepers.
30-60 Min Nap
When I first test out products, I test them out while I’m awake. In the case of the Sweave sheets, this was to get a good idea of the way they felt, and how changing positions in bed felt.
When it came time for an actual nap, however, I tested the sheets out as is. I tend to layer up with two thin layers, so I wanted to get a feel for these sheets without that second layer. And I must say, these sheets felt very lightweight and super breathable.
I could feel air flow through the sheets and I never felt like I would be in danger of overheating. And these are some pretty soft sheets. I tend to sleep with more satin-like bamboo sheets, but the Tencel/cotton blend still felt really nice with this set.
But because I do prefer to pull a thin blanket over the top sheet, I had to test them out that way, too! And while my blanket did hinder some of the breathability of these sheets, I still stayed at a comfortable body temperature.
Care Instructions
The Sweave sheets have simple care instructions. Wash in a cold water cycle on the delicate setting. From there, you can tumble dry on low heat, on a delicate setting if your dryer has one, or you have the option to line dry them.
Allergies
Eucalyptus is a naturally hypoallergenic material, and cotton isn’t known to trap allergens either. If you have sensitive skin or allergies, these are a good option!

For this review I received the queen-size sheet set. This included:

- A flat sheet
- Two standard-sized pillowcases
Sweave only offers full, queen, king, California king, and split king-sized sets. These all include the same items, though the king-size sets will include king-size pillowcases.
Return Policy
Sweave offers a 30-day return policy. I should mention that you cannot return the sheets if they have been used or washed. This makes things a little difficult to know if these are the sheets for you, as they have to be returned in their original packaging as well.
While I’d normally recommend washing your sheets before first use, this is something to consider before returning these sheets. Sweave does not offer a warranty, either.
How Do the Sweave Eucalyptus Sheets Compare To Other Sheets?
When looking at a new bed sheet set, it’s important to keep your options open. Let’s take a look at how the Sweave sheets stand up to two other sheet sets that use bamboo and cotton.
Sweave vs Puffy
When talking about temperature regulating sheets, it doesn’t get much better than Tencel lyocell and bamboo. While the Sweave sheets are a Tencel lyocell and coton sheet set, Puffy uses 100% bamboo viscose in its bamboo sheets.
The Puffy bamboo sheets feature a sateen weave, which makes them feel incredibly silky soft. Sweave uses a percale weave, which gives the eucalyptus sheets a bit of crispness. Tencel can feel cool-to-the-touch, but Puffy’s bamboo sheets are great for hot sleepers because they’re breathable and moisture-wicking.
Sweave offers many colors for its sheets, while Puffy only offers gray and white. Both are close in price range, though Sweave’s price tag is slightly higher than Puffy’s.

Sweave vs Parachute
Parachute is a popular brand that uses 100% Egyptian cotton in its percale sheets. Even though Sweave uses a eucalyptus and cotton blend, these sheets still perform a little differently.
Both should be good options for hot sleepers, but Sweave’s sheets have the added benefit of being moisture-wicking thanks to the Tencel. Cotton is breathable, but it won’t keep night sweats at bay. Both will feel fairly crisp due to the percale weave, but the Sweave sheets will feel slightly more silky, again because of the Tencel.
Both come in a variety of pastel or neutral colors if you’re looking to match a home decor color scheme. However, in terms of price, the Sweave sheets are a bit more affordable than Parachute’s.

Do eucalyptus sheets feel like satin?
When you have 100% eucalyptus Tencel sheets, they can have that soft, silky, satin-like feel to them. This feel is made even more apparent when the sheets are constructed with the sateen weave. However, because the Sweave sheets are made with a percale weave, and are blended with cotton, they’ll feel more crisp than satin-like.
How do you wash Sweave sheets?
Sweave recommends washing your sheets once every six to seven days. This can help fight discoloration, especially in the white sheets. You can wash them on a regular cold water cycle and then line dry or tumble dry. Even with the white sheets, Sweave mentions that you should never use bleach when washing these sheets.
How long will the Sweave sheets last?
Tencel sheets are a great investment thanks to them being fairly long-lasting. The Sweave sheets are made in a percale weave with a cotton blend, so they may be a little more prone to wrinkling over 100% Tencel sheets, but wrinkling isn’t usually a sign of wear and tear. However, the combination of Tencel and the percale weave means these sheets should be very long lasting. At a minimum, they should last around two years, if not more, with good care.
