BioPEDIC Premium Sofloft Body Pillow Review – Big Name for a BIG Pillow!

The BioPEDIC Premium SofLoft Body Pillow is focused on providing subtle, full-body support in a plush, hypoallergenic package. The pillow is one of the longest I’ve reviewed (about 54″ long) but only reaches about 2″ in height due to its soft polyester fiber filling.

This BioPEDIC Body Pillow review will go over the main highlights of the body pillow and attempt to describe the main takeaways and what people should look out for if they are considering the product.

The BioPEDIC Premium SofLoft full body pillow is filled with polyester fibers and gives the entire pillow a soft and plush feel. With a height of only 2", it will not be overly supportive but a nice option for all sleep positions, nonetheless.

Sleep Positions

The plush feel and low height of this pillow make it work for all sleep positions.

Side sleepers will be able to hug it and place the bottom end between their knees to keep their hips relatively open.

The softness allows back and stomach sleepers to get right on top of it without feeling like they’re being pushed to the side because of too much support.

BioPEDIC Body Pillow Sleeping Positions

Those who are larger or simply want a lot of support may not feel like this is enough for them. In this case, I would suggest looking for a filling that incorporates foam for more height and loft.

A pregnant person who wants a little support while they sleep on their side might enjoy this pillow either in front of or behind her.

My Experience

As mentioned at the beginning of this review, this body pillow is subtle because it’s got a very soft filling and maintains only about 2″ of height total. It remains supportive, just not overly supportive.

The soft polyester/cotton blended cover feels like a hotel pillow and is crisp and clean, making it a feel consumers should really enjoy.

BioPEDIC Body Pillow Feel

The pillow will provide full-body support in a number of positions. It’s soft enough that people can virtually lay on top of it or lay back on it without feeling like they’re being pushed over. Side sleepers can hug it, and it’ll slightly elevate their hips when placed between their knees.

It’s also easy to fold in half and can be used doubled up for just their knees or behind their back if they’re sitting up in bed.

BioPEDIC Body Pillow Positioning

Affordability is a big plus for this pillow, but the inability to machine wash it isn’t ideal. I’d recommend purchasing a low-priced pillow protector so people can keep it in good shape as long as possible.

Consumers will also need to fluff the pillow to prevent the polyester fibers from falling flat over time. (This will happen if they use it every night.) Just put it on a low tumble dry or air-only tumble dry, or leave it outside for a few minutes and hand-fluff!

Overall

Overall, I liked the BioPEDIC Premium SofLoft Body Pillow for a couple of big reasons.

The first is that it’s super affordable and can be purchased at a variety of well-known retailers (shop around for the best price!).

I also like that the pillow isn’t overwhelming. It’s soft, plush and has a low loft, so it gives just enough support without taking over the bed.

Larger individuals may find that it’s actually not enough support for them, so it may be best to look at a full-body pillow that has shredded foam inside. For stomach or back sleepers, this one might be perfect for them.
