Casper Mattress Review

Casper is one of the most popular bed-in-a-box companies. They offer three mattresses (the Essential, the Casper, and the Wave) as well as other sleep products such as sheets and pillows.

What’s new about the Casper original is the addition of zoned support. This adds more support in the middle of the mattress where your hips (typically) rest. Your shoulders still enjoy pressure relief as they rest on a slightly softer foam, while your hips get the added support of a firmer middle zone.

If you’re interested in buying multiple Casper mattresses or think the Wave or Essential (reviews coming soon!) may be a better fit for you, use our link to get the best deal on a Casper mattress!

  1. The first time I rested my head head on a Casper it was love at first sight. I THOUGHT LIFE COULDNT ET ET ANY BETTUNTIL I realized MY HOPES AND DREAMS WERE DASHED BY MY LACK OF INCOME. this chance MEANS A LOT TO ME AND NEEDLESS TO SAY i’D BET THIS MATTRESSIMPROVESEVERYTHIN FROM MY LOVE LIFE TO MY RELATIONSHIP WITH MY ESTRANGED FATHER. WITH A CASPER MATTRESSANYTHING IS POSSIBLE!!

  2. I’ve about worn an imprint of my body into my current mattress; I’d be interested to see if zone support eliminates that issue

  3. I think the zoned support could be beneficial. I am primarily a side sleeper though I do sleep on my back nightly. The extra support in the hip area would be nice, as well as less firmness in the shoulder area.

  4. Zone support sounds like a terrific idea and something I need. The dips in my current mattress bear witness to this.

  5. I think the zoned support sounds wonderful! Much better than what I have now where I toss and turn all night long trying to get comfortable and I wake up stiff and achy if I am in bed “too long”. A mattress should be comfortable no matter how many hours you spend in it!

  6. My first major purchase besides my house was my bed. I am so disappointed. It is memory foam and I could just cry over how terrible it is. I’m thankful I purchased the adjustable base but I learned a hard lesson. I know now what to look for and what I do not want. That said, I need a mattress that does not crush at the sides, does not sink so I can’t move, and regains it’s shape and doesn’t make me uncomfortably warm.
Zoned support sounds great but I guess I think I would still drive a salesperson crazy with questions. ☺

  7. The Casper Zoned sure sounds wonderful! Suffering from severe back problems, I’d love to FINALLY find the right mattress to get some sleep again.

  8. I think that it sounds wonderful. I never realized how much support- and the easing of pressure points- matters in getting a good nights sleep.

  9. My husband and I sleep both sleeping on two twin Serta matresses pushed together on the floor and our medically fragile three year old son sleeps with us as well he has a feeding tube etc and refused to sleep anywhere away from mama so we had to take off the bottom box spring because otherwise we would be falling off the bed so here we are on the floor which normally I would say whatever that’s life my three year old is happy so I’m happy but turns out I have degenerative disc disease and now my back is horrible I can barley stand right my husband has to help me dress sometimes too because I’m not able to bend anymore so we would be really happy to win this to say the least but if it’s not us we wish the best to whoever fate chooses gl everyone ! Happy sleeping!

  10. I like this mattress because of some of it’s wonderful features like the fact that it dissipates heat and be soft under the shoulders and supportive under the hips.

  11. I like the idea of zoned support. I don’t really like a “flat” mattress. Would this help stop my husband’s snoring???

  12. The Casper zone support sounds perfect for those who have a hard time finding their right sleep position comfortably

  13. I hope I get the chance to try that zoned support, will it work for me or will it be just a gimmick. A firmer middle zone may not make a difference if I am I tossing around in the middle of the night

  14. This would be an ideal mattress for me as I have chronic pain from Fibromyalgia. I also have Chronic Fatigue Syndrome so I spend a lot of time in bed and as a result, my bed HAS to be super comfortable and endure a lot of use. Because I’m in pain 24/7, I need a mattress that has pressure relief for my joints as well, so the zoned support is an awesome feature! I think the Casper would be the ideal mattress for me to finally get a pain free sleep! Thanks so much for the chance to win!

  15. I sleep on my left side, and feel this would be the perfect mattress for me. Being the certain areas on the mattress for people like me with back problems.

  16. I really like how Casper mattress has kept current and changed the design into zoned support. It stays soft and comfy but still lends support where I need it most. The pressure relieving is a fantastic feature as well!

  17. I am really interested in the zone support – this mattress sounds amazing waking up with no numbness is what I am seeking

  18. I think that the zoned support on this Casper bed would be very comfortable for me and help me to get a great nights sleep!

  19. Casper zoned support sounds wonderful! My hubby and I are both side sleepers and this mattress would work out for that also. Thanks

  20. I work full time and go to school full time. The mattress that I currently have was given to me and it is better than sleeping on the ground. I would love to have a new mattress that I can at actually get quality sleep on.

  21. The original Casper Mattress has changed designs many times since it was first released. The newest iteration incorporates “zoned support,” which is meant to give support where it is needed while still keeping the rest of the mattress softer and pressure relieving. It would be great for pain in your back

  22. I’ve watched a bunch of these reviewes and this one seems like the winner. I sleep on my side and hubby sleeps on his stomach. Plus we both sleep hot. Thurs one solves all our issues.

  23. The Casper zone support looks like a great system. I appreciate the great review on this, and for sharing.

  24. I like the zoned support feature. I think I am to heavy for this mattress, but I think it’s perfect for my teenage son.
