“A good night’s sleep is a universal need, and Purple is determined to meet the global demand for our quality sleep products,” said Sam Bernards, CEO at Purple, in a statement. “We’re excited to extend the availability of our products to Canada and solve the problem of uncomfortable sleep for our neighbors to the north.”

Products will be available for sale on Purple’s website. The Purple® Bed in a Queen will cost CAD $1599. The Purple™ Sheets will run CAD $269 for a Queen set and The Purple™ Mattress Protector will range in price from CAD $109 to $129.

In addition, Purple said they are running a “back-to-school” promotion for Canadian consumers. Customers can get $125 CAD off a platform base when they buy a mattress and base together, while supplies last, said the company.

Purple is known for creating the “World’s First No Pressure™ Mattress,” and using a patented Hyper-Elastic Polymer™ technology in their products.

In July, the company signed a letter of intent to merge with Global Partner Acquisition Corp (GPAC), which would make the mattress retailer a publicly traded company overnight.
